Joshua Loudermilk

Director of Recruiting and Mobilization
josh.loudermilk@ldius.org

The details of my life are quite inconsequential... very well, where do I begin? My father was a relentlessly focused shade tree mechanic and fisherman. My mother was a 4 ft 8-inch fiery southern Irish lady with thick glasses and an intoxicating laugh. My father is a man of few words who never cusses. He would shout out outrageous phrases when angry like "Stop the Shenanigans!", "Get Your Head on Straight!" and "This Can't be This Way”! The sort of general malaise that only the genius possesses and the insane lament. My childhood was typical. Summers were fishing and camping (suffering) or on long road trips in a station wagon to Grandma's house where we sought to "fight boredom.” In the spring we left home to attend school and play baseball. At the age of twelve I received my first pair of contacts and my journey from geeky to cool dude began. At the age of 47 I am still awaiting my growth spurt. At least I married a tall woman so that my kids to achieve greater heights.

Tim Wong

Senior Recruiter- Canada
tim.wong@ldius.org

Tim’s 30 years in education has allowed him to travel to more than 40 different cities and countries around the world. Tim is an avid cook, but he is most known for making bubble tea and gourmet coffee, even though he does not drink either of these drinks. Tim is a husband (20+ years), teacher, principal, author, and university lecturer. He is most proud of being a former professional magician. He has since retired from performing and his two teenage children have taken over. Their greatest trick is making all Tim’s money disappear!

Susan Phillips

Applicant Liaison/Partnership Development
susan.phillips@ldius.org

Being a Third Culture Kid provided a framework for a life of adventure. From growing up 8 years in Asia… to marrying an Alabama country boy, raising 3 children, and loving on 8 grandchildren, I can eat Sushi and Fried Okra at the same meal! In the workforce long enough to have 2 careers, I first graduated with a BSN from the University of Texas at Austin in 1981. The highlight of my second career with LDi is serving 5 years in China with my husband (of 37 years), and 11+ years mobilizing qualified/called candidates. Possessing the gift of gab, a listening ear, and a measure of discernment, I’d love to hear “Your Story!”

Jeannie Kraus

Administrative Assistant

Jeannie graduated in 2004 with her Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Though it took her 18 years to complete her degree, she was able to get some hands-on experience in early childhood as she became a mom to two wonderful daughters during that time. Jeannie enjoys paying attention to the small things in life and will spend much time gazing at insects, flowers, and rocks. Because she is a bit on the OCD side, you may find Jeannie arranging such small things. She has been with LDi for seven years driving her counterparts crazy because of her incredible ability to ask questions about these all-important details.

He is married to Taylor and the two have a dog named Phelps who is a black lab and German shepherd mix. Megan enjoys Disney, Vanilla Coke, flip flops, attending Mercer football games with her family, Italian food, and reading on an airplane. Megan’s favorite part of working with applicants is developing friendships with them — she’s even been a bridesmaid in an applicant’s wedding!

Brittany West

brittany.west@ldius.org

Brittany lives in Georgia with her husband, Joe (not Jonas). Brittany grew up as a “Delta Brat” and still enjoys using her dad’s flight benefits for discounted travel. Britt’s love for playing in the rocks and dirt as a child carried over to her college years where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sustainability from the University of West Georgia. She loves sushi, Young Life, high kicks, Marie Kondo-ing her house, and party planning.
